BABIES AND BUTTERFLIES
Babies and butterflies
Both come from a tiny egg.
A caterpillar becomes a butterfly,
An infant becomes an adult.
They both go through metamorphosis,
Before they are grown up.
They both depend on their surroundings
To teach them things they need to know,
Caterpillars depend on creation,
Infants depend on parents like so.
A monarch is king, queen, or emperor
Children are also the same.
Both have what it takes to fly high,
Both have the ability to lead the way.
A monarch is known for traveling,
It can be found almost anywhere you go.
Children are known for reaching new heights
Making dreams come true also.
God made both in his own image
So their lifecycles are somewhat the same
They are both blessed with a gift of flying high
Babies and butterflies
