Communication with parents is the key to quality education. At Monarch Child Development Center, we issue daily reports for infants and toddlers (ages 0-23 months) which indicates when all feedings, naps and activities take place. The child's general mood disposition is also recorded for your knowledge. For toddlers, ages 24 months and older, we keep parents abreast of their child's progress weekly. The teachers are always ready to schedule a parent conference to discuss your child's progress, answer questions, resolve any concerns, or simply keep you up-to-date. A bi-monthly newsletter and monthly calendar is circulated to keep parents aware of ongoing activities and events, as well as, important dates to remember.

Our Parental Interaction program offers parents the opportunities to engage in interaction with your child, communicate with staff, and become involved in school activities and events. To encourage parental interaction, students are provided take home books to correlate with lessons taught and activities designed to emphasize parental interaction with children. Parents receive ongoing communication with staff weekly informing them of their child's progress. Volunteers will be involved in activities such as: working with children in the classroom, chaperoning field trips and other special events or school activities.

A major objective of Monarch Child Development Center is to aid parents in the total education of their child. MCDC strives to equip parents with the knowledge of producing "godly offspring" (Malachi 2:15) by participating in the following areas: education, worship, fellowship, and service. This will be accomplished through our programs, special activities and ongoing communication.
